New Orleans to Tallahassee FL!!

One more day in New Orleans before I headed to Tallahassee.
I went to the other end of town today to Camp Street and Magazine Street. I wanted to go to the Louisiana Civil War Museum but it's closed on Monday's.. so I went next door to the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. I saw some really cool and really weird and crazy paintings and works of standing art. I'll post a bunch of my favorites in a bit.
Afterwards I decided to head to the WWII Museum only a block away, but not before grabbing my last cup of coffee in New Orleans and some lunch.
The movie they showed at the museum used some of the coolest live stage visual effects I've seen used for a film. It was an IMAX theatre, the seats shook, soapy 'snow' fell from the ceiling, and the front end of a plane appeared from the ceiling, to name a few.. not to mention the use of additional screens.. just so cool!
I've been to a lot of WWII memorial museums, but I've never seen one like this. It was all about the war from the perspective of America, our initial entrance, our soldiers, our loss's and our victories. Photos to come.

I left New Orleans after that and drove another 380 miles to Tallahassee. Definitely talk to myself.. and sing to myself. For the briefest moment I thought about the fact that two weeks ago I was working, confined, constrained, unhappy, momentum building up underneath me.. and now i'm freeeeeeeeeeeee! This is great. I can't wait to move to Maryland ready to start something new.. I love adventure! Love ;-)
